Michael also served on the staff of former Congressman Don Bonker of Washington State. He has testified before numerous committees in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives, been the featured guest on C-SPAN and the Dianne Rehm Show, appeared on Moneyline with Lou Dobbs and the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, and been quoted extensively in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.
